What Is a DMA Card?
A DMA card is an FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) device that plugs into a PCIe slot and can read the PC's RAM directly. Just as a GPU or NVMe SSD has direct access to RAM, a DMA card also reads memory over PCIe. The difference: a GPU reads to run the game; a DMA card reads to send that memory data outside.
A DMA card is not a cheat by itself. It is standard hardware. It becomes a cheat solution only when custom firmware is written to it and it talks to DMA software on a second PC. The actual cheat (ESP, aim, radar) is displayed on the second PC — nothing cheat-related runs on the gaming PC.
FPGA, Firmware and Software: Three Layers
A DMA system has three layers:
1. Hardware (FPGA): the physical card. Xilinx Artix-7 or Kintex-7 chips are common. Captain 75T and Stark 75T cards use the xc7a75t FPGA.
2. Firmware: the configuration loaded onto the FPGA. It defines how the card presents itself on PCIe — vendor/device ID, subsystem ID, serial. With stock firmware the card looks like a "DMA card" and is detectable in the anti-cheat's PCIe list. Custom firmware (like Core Firmware) shows the card as an ordinary Ethernet adapter or NVMe device.
3. Software: runs on the second PC. Reads game memory through the FPGA, parses structures (entity list, player struct, offsets) and draws the ESP/aim overlay.
Which DMA Card Should I Buy?
Three common options:
Squirrel DMA: the most widespread and easy to find. Strong community firmware support. Good price/performance.
CaptainDMA (CaptainDMA 75T / Captain Stark 75T): a pre-built OEM card, easier to source in Turkey. Uses the xc7a75t FPGA. Officially supported by Core Firmware with separate builds for ASUS, MSI and Gigabyte.
ZDMA: an alternative. Rarer and narrower community support.
Recommendation: for a first DMA buy, CaptainDMA 75T or Stark 75T is the easiest route logistically and support-wise. Flashes in ~2 minutes with Core Firmware.
Which Games Work?
DMA Reader is active in three games right now:
Counter-Strike 2: DMA ESP + Aim Assist + POV Aim + TriggerBot. KMBox NET external mouse support. VAC bypass.
Escape From Tarkov: DMA ESP, 30+ container types, airdrop ESP, loot category filter, exfil points. BattlEye bypass.
Wardogs: DMA ESP, aim assist, vehicle ESP, long-range ESP. Anybrain bypass.
Valorant and FACEIT are not supported — their anti-cheats run at boot level. There is no Arc Raiders DMA product; only the HWID spoofer is supported.
