Does Arc Raiders HWID Ban?
Yes. Arc Raiders, Embark Studios' 2026 extraction shooter, is protected by Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC). On detection, EAC adds both your Steam/Embark account and your hardware identifiers to its ban list — your PC gets banned, not just your account.
As a result, creating a new Steam account on the same computer will not let you back in. On launch, EAC recollects the hardware IDs and refuses the connection if any of them match the ban list.
What Does the Arc Raiders HWID Ban Check For?
In Arc Raiders, EAC collects the following hardware identifiers and compares them against its ban database:
Disk serial number (NVMe/SATA) MAC address (Ethernet and Wi-Fi adapters) SMBIOS: motherboard serial, UUID, baseboard and chassis info GPU vendor/device ID and GPU serial Monitor EDID serial number System UUID (Windows registry MachineGuid) CPU info (CPUID, brand string, core topology) TPM 2.0 Endorsement Key (EK) hash
If any of these IDs is on the ban list, Arc Raiders refuses the connection. A new Steam account alone is not a solution because EAC recognizes you by your PC before your account.
How to Remove an Arc Raiders HWID Ban
There are two paths:
1. Hardware replacement: Physically swapping the disk and/or motherboard changes some of the IDs EAC collects. It is expensive, slow and does not cover every identifier — if GPU, monitor or TPM-level IDs are also banned, replacement alone is not enough.
2. Kernel-level HWID spoofer: HWID Core loads a Ring0 driver before Arc Raiders starts and rotates disk serial, MAC, SMBIOS, GPU, monitor and system UUID at the kernel level. When EAC comes up, the IDs it collects no longer match the ban list and the game lets you in. No hardware changes physically; the driver runs in memory and writes zero bytes to disk.

1. Run the HWID Core loader as administrator. 2. Enter your license key — the kernel driver loads via BYOVD, passing signature checks without tripping PatchGuard. 3. Apply Identity Shield — within 30-60 seconds disk serial, MAC, SMBIOS, GPU, monitor and system UUID are rotated to fresh values. 4. Launch Arc Raiders from Steam with your new account. EAC starts cleanly — your old IDs are on the ban list but it can no longer see them.
